PON/REACH/TSUMO/RON

PON

if you have 2 same tiles, you can make it 3 by drawing the tile that is discarded by your opponents. that is called PON. the 3 tiles you PON will be open to the opponents. If you PON, points of that set will be half. also, it effects the number of HAN of the set. if you PON, you can never REACH.


REACH

to be in a situation where you can win at the next tile, and you have never PON, you call it a REACH. if you REACH, you have to discard the TSUMO tile unless you can win by it. if nobody has PON and you win at the 1st turn, you get 1 HAN. there are no FURITEN like in regular Mahjong. after REACH, even if the tile you need is one of the tiles you already discarded, you can still RON.

to REACH, you have to use 1000 points. if you could not win after REACH, these points goes to the winner. If there are no winner, those points will be confiscated.


TSUMO

to draw a new tile to your hand is called "TSUMORU". also, if you win by the tile you drew, it is called TSUMOAGARI or just TSUMO.


RON

If you can win by the opponent's discarded tile, you can win by RON. if you RON, points will be given from the user that made you RON. if other opponents wants the same tile, the faster user will get the tile.
